Zaccheus founded Restalyst, growing it from a small one-product start-up into an innovative biomedical company that develops, manufactures and markets a range of clinical cancer diagnostic solutions across the Asia Pacific market. Zaccheus saw the benefits of integrating different companies across the healthcare value chain and subsequently set up ResteLab, ResteMedical and ResteLife – with all coming under the Reste Group.
Prior to setting up Restalyst, Zaccheus has over a decade’s worth of leadership experience in various sectors within several MNCs and SMEs. In these roles, he is known for turning loss-making divisions or companies into profitable ones within a short period of time. Zaccheus has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales and a Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship from the Nanyang Technological University.
Scientific and Regulatory Director
Brian oversees the financial policies and activities of ResteLab Hong Kong. He is responsible for financial analysis and formulating financial strategies in support of the business operations. In addition, Brian also leads the Hong Kong business unit of Reste Group.
Brian is a finance professional with significant knowledge in strategic planning, corporate finance, business planning, operations management and business development. He has over 15 years of work experience in the medical, retail and IT industries, having been based in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia. He held the position of Financial Controller in Thomas Medical Laboratory for 7 years. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration (focused in Finance) from the Boston University.
Chun Han oversees the quality assurance and clinical trial protocols of new products. He is the regulatory subject matter expert to the group in ensuring regulatory compliance.
He has over 30 years of extensive scientific and regulatory experience, having worked as a clinical trial auditor in contract research organisations, within quality assurance units in academia, as well as at several global biopharmaceutical and diagnostic corporations like Johnson & Johnson and Bayer Diagnostics. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Malaya, went on to attain a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Washington and received a PhD in Occupational Health and Safety from the National University of Singapore.
Paul is responsible for maintaining the quality of healthcare services provided in our clinic. He also contributes to the design of health screening and education programmes.
Paul is a medical doctor with more than 15 years of clinical experience in both private clinics public hospitals in Singapore and Australia. Prior to joining Reste Group, Paul was with SATA and NTUC Medicare focusing on corporate and statutory health screening. Thereafter, he worked as a corporate doctor in-charge of workplace health. Paul has a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of New South Wales.
Information Technology Director
Thomas oversees the operations of the clinical laboratory and provides technical advice to enhance our medical services to patients.
His career in the biomedical and clinical laboratory industry has spanned more than four decades. He founded the Thomas Medical Laboratory in Hong Kong in 1976, and built up a strong reputation as a medical technologist, being elected as Chairman of the Executive Committee of Hong Kong Medical Technology Association (HKMTA) from 1989 to 1993. He was again elected as the President of Hong Kong Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences (previously HKMTA) for 2004 to 2006 and holds the Honorary President of HKIMLS since 2014.
Husain leads an IT team to develop an integrated digital healthcare platform that supports business units of the Reste Group.
Husain has extensive experience in the technology sector, focusing on a range of areas, including project management, system design and application software development. He is a strategic thinker and efficient planner, with a flair for team building, problem-solving and leadership. He has led multiple development teams for platform and mobile applications. Prior to the Reste Group, Husain built up his technical, analytical and software engineering skills at PMG Asia, NETS and Faro Singapore. Husain holds a Master degree in Computer Applications from the Madurai Kamaraj University (India) and a Specialist Diploma in Mobile Applications from Republic Polytechnic.
Peter manages the business planning, content strategy and execution of Reste Group’s e-business initiatives. His role involves integrating the E-Business strategic direction from the various business units and working with cross functional teams to manage online brand representation and capture online sales.
Peter is an experienced e-business professional, having spent more than 20 years in managing software development, call centre and e-commerce services for large local enterprises such as Singapore Computer Systems and SembCorp Logistics. He also played a key role in providing business solutions for a range of large MNCs and government agencies, including Sun Microsystems, Fuji Xerox and Citibank, Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and the Singapore Ministry of Defence.
